How to send the weekly Broker’s Opens announcement
Get this week’s open houses
- At nwmls.com, open Matrix, and choose Search.
- Under Cross-Property, choose Open House.
- Choose Walla Walla County, Broker’s Open House, and this coming Tuesday’s date.
- Click Results and print the resulting report as a PDF.
- (I name it with that Tuesday’s date. If you format it as 2024-02-13.pdf then it will always sort in chronological order.)
Share the PDF
- In GrowthZone, choose Cloud > Broker’s Opens.
- Click Choose Files and upload your PDF.
- Click the newly-uploaded file, choose Sharing, and click Get a sharing link.
- Copy the link. You might want to paste it into a text file so you don’t lose it.
Send the message
- In GrowthZone, choose Communication > Email Designer.
- under Template, choose Broker’s Opens.
- Update the URL of the blue button (this is the sharing link you saved above).
- Click Actions > Save Template (confirm yes, overwrite existing version.)
- Check “Make available as a web page.”
- On the line that says To: click the ••• link at the far right.
- Uncheck the default boxes, and instead choose Membership Status, and check Active.
- Your message is ready to go out to all active members (except those who have opted out of receiving such mesages.)
- Next to the Actions button, click Send.
- (Don’t use the Send Email button, obvious though it seems — this would start a new, blank message and lose your work.)
- Your email goes out over the next few minutes.
