- Begin recruiting new officer nominees and people to submit nominations.
- July 31: State tax return due.
August
- President appoints an Election Committee: Board approves. (By-laws XI.4.c)
- Build an online board election poll – on website or Google forms.
- Make hotel and travel reservations for officers and AE to attend Fall Business Conference.
- Reserve space at WW Country club for annual business meeting. Order breakfast buffet for 100 people.
September
- Attend Fall Business Conference Sept 18-20 in Kennewick.
- Election of officers for next year, the day before Annual Business Meeting (By-laws XI.4.b). Beginning 2024 this will likely be done within GrowthZone.
- Annual business meeting.
- Recruit Awards Committee to solicit nominations and choose awardees.
- Make hotel and travel reservations for incoming board president and AE to attend Washington Realtors Leadership Conference.
- AE and incoming president need to plan installation beginning now.
October
- Attend Washington Realtors Leadership Conference.
- Care & Share Food Drive is third weekend in October.
- Begin contacting Affiliates to confirm Affiliate membership for next year.
- Together with Membership chair, begin recruiting new Affiliate members for next year.
- October 31: State tax return due.
November
- Finish preparing for NAR CORE Standards. Deadline: Dec. 1.
- Appoint an Awards Committee. Solicit nominations for awardees.
- Awards Committee names awardees before the first of December.
December
- Bill for next year’s membership dues. Invoices must be dated January 1 next year.
- Order award plaques in early December to ensure arrival before Installation.
- Reserve venue for Installation. Send out invitations.
- Make hotel and travel reservations for President, President-Elect, RPAC Chair, and key contacts to attend Hill Day. Also any key contacts for elected state reps.
